This exhibition celebrates 150 years since his birth. “One must always paint with the heart”. “The painting is the artist”. These words give us an extremely serious impression on Taikan, but he also had a tremendous sense of journey and playfulness. He used his creativity to surprise people with his paintings, and constantly strove to develop fresh expressive possibilities. This exhibition presents a selection of about 90 of Taikan’s works, beginning with his younger years, allowing viewers to form their own photo of this good artist .
