About the application:

VIN Inventory is a fast VIN lookup program that allows you to save car info and images. Scan a VIN barcode in just a few seconds using the Android device autofocus camera or enter the VIN using the keypad. This apk was made for automotive salespeople, managers, vehicle enthusiasts and anyone who wants to hold a list of cars with images. Car info can be easily emailed and full-sized images are stored in the image Gallery for simple access. No subscription, in-app purchase or decoding fee is needed to use the full features of VIN Inventory. VIN Inventory quickly authenticates and then decodes the car VIN (serial number) and displays rich info including year, create, model, engine, equipment, optional accessory stuff and EPA numbers. The player may add a stock number (or mark number), color, odometer reading, price, and a note about the car. Three images can be added using the device’s camera or image Gallery. All data can be appended or edited. The player may select to either add the car to their Inventory List or delete the car after a fast review. Previously saved car data can be edited and images can be updated at any time. The Car List display screen is a scrolling table of all saved cars complete with thumbnail images. Tapping on a specific car calls a detail view with car info and images. The player can tap a image to edit or use a long-press to view an enlarged photo. VIN Inventory’s database contains cars produced after 1981 (17 digit VINs). Data coverage is for North American vehicles and light trucks but omits data for exotic and commercial cars and older cars. Fresh models are added to the database as info becomes accessible. Cars which are not included in the database may be entered manually. AutoPlus produces another car inventory programs with such features as upload, download, import, and export of car data, multiple images, label printing and another strong functions.
