The Mean Green Ready mobile apk gives fast and simple access to reference materials and rules to assist prepare for different emergency situations. It is designed to help emergency preparedness for the UNT campus community by providing general emergency rules, resources, necessary numbers and contact info for use by faculty, staff and students. The info and resources accessible through the Mean Green Ready apk are meant for use in obtaining general guidance. It is a valuable resource used to: • Provide guidance on first actions to take and how to receive assistance in the happening of an emergency, • serve as a useful program during department security talks, • supplement training provided during fresh faculty, staff and student orientation • Reference as a baseline when creating department/building specific action plans. It is not intended to negate the need to develop custom plans with specific info pertinent to individual departments/buildings or replace the responsibility of faculty, staff and students to become familiar with specific info for their building, office or classroom.
