About the application:

StopKorona! is a mobile apk intended to stop spreading the Corona virus and protect players by detection of distance between mobile devices/applications of another persons, by using Bluetooth technology. The underlying aim of the apk is to provide quick response to healthcare authorities about another persons that have been in close contact with the infected person in the past 14 days. The apk uses Bluetooth to communicate with another apk players and exchanges encrypted, anonymized data about the distance of all nearby devices, at a distance relevant to spreading of the infection, for a limited period of time within the past 14 days. If an apk player gets infected with the virus, the Ministry of Health will request the apk player to share with the Ministry the list of his/her apk data, whereby competent authorities will detect telephone numbers and will inform the persons that they have been in close proximity with a person who is a COVID-19 carrier, while fully protecting the privacy thereof. Users have full control over their privacy. The only data similar to the player is mobile telephone number. It is stored on a secure server managed by the Ministry of Health, and will be used upon user’s consent, only in case player is infected by virus. All players of the application create a private contribution to the collective war versus this common health hazard.
