About the application:

Splotch was first conceived as a program for researchers in chemistry research laboratories to catalog, share, and eventually publish their experimental thin-layer chromatography (TLC) data. While much of this data often remains unpublished or under-exploited, Splotch provides scientists with the capability to quickly capture, organize, and annotate photographic TLC data. While this first application was built with chemistry researchers in mind, we fully intend to expand the feature-set to provide useful programs to a dozens of disciplines. The creators of Splotch are committed to providing quality tool programs to researchers in order to enhance the reproducibility of their science. With that in mind, we have decided that our first offering will be completely gratis to download, use with no ads or in-app purchases, and we will NEVER do anything nefarious with your private or professional data. We do not track any data about our players and we do everything we can to ensure that your data is safe. We promise to maintain the application by providing help for bug fixes, feature enhancements, and another feedback going forward. Our goal is to provide you with a safe program to streamline your research.
