Student Center for Professional Development\nThe Student Center for Professional Development (SCPD) has been a valuable part of the College of Business (COB) for a lot of years. SCPD was made in 2008 and was successfully updated in the 2010-2011 academic year to meet the changing needs of students entering the workforce in the second decade of the 21st century.\n\nThe purpose of these (mentoring) tools is geared towards helping the College of Business students be as successful as possible during college and after graduation. Studies present that students who had a mentor are more likely to be engaged, volunteer, become a mentor, keep a leadership position, and more.
