About the application:

This Pitching Counter application will let you to track every pitch of a baseball mini game by each pitcher. The intention is to track the performance of a pitcher over a mini game, or a season. Batters are calculated based on pitch outcomes. Innings are based upon outs. A lot of apks out there track only what you place in. This apk will track much more, to give you better insight into how your pitchers are doing. 4 balls to the same batter results in a walk. 3 strikes to the same batter results in a strikeout (assuming the 3rd wasn't a foul ball). This apk will track all that! For every pitch, any of the following can be entered, and thus tracked: Ball Strike – looking Strike – swinging Strike – dropped 3rd strike looking – out (only accessible when there are already 2 strikes) Strike – dropped 3rd strike looking – secure (only accessible when there are already 2 strikes) Strike – dropped 3rd strike swinging – out (only accessible when there are already 2 strikes) Strike – dropped 3rd strike swinging – secure (only accessible when there are already 2 strikes) Foul In play – ground out (or fielder’s choice) In play – line out (or fielder’s choice) In play – fly out (or fielder’s choice) In play – pop out (or fielder’s choice) In play – reached on error In play – single In play – double In play – triple In play – home run In addition, a few unique plays can be tracked: Out - Pitcher pick off Out - Catcher pick off Out - Double play (only accessible when the latest pitch resulted in an out) Out - Triple play (only accessible when the latest pitch resulted in an out) Out - Batter interference Out - Runner interference Wild pitch Balk Hit Batter All pitches, unique plays, and entered runs are tracked and accessible in the history. Pitches, and outs for the current inning, and for the entire mini game, are visible on the main screen. Current inning numbers are displayed in parentheses. The count for the current batter is displayed on the main screen. Email can be sent at the end of each inning with a summary of that innings pitches, outs/run plays, that days statistics. 30 various stats are generated using the tracked data. User can choose number of innings per mini game. Some statistics are dependent upon how a lot of innings are in a mini game. For younger users, fewer innings are played. This apk will let you to compare all of your pitchers, and you can sort on any of the statistics fields that are displayed. Example of usage: Launch application Select Pitcher X – Press Next Select Begin fresh game If pitcher is coming into a fresh inning, press 0 outs. If pitcher is coming into the middle of an inning, set outs to 1 or 2 1st pitch – Ball – press Ball button 2nd pitch – Strike – press Strike button, then choose Strike Looking 3rd pitch – Foul – press Strike button, then choose Foul 4th pitch – Foul - press Strike button, then choose Foul – note that the count is still 1-2 5th pitch – Ground Out – press In-Play button, then choose Ground Out 6th pitch – Ball – press Ball button 7th pitch – Strike – press Strike button, then choose Strike Looking 8th pitch – Strike – press Strike button, then choose Strike Looking 9th pitch – Dropped 3rd – press Strike button, note that dropped 3rd strike buttons are enabled, press Dropped 3rd Strike, Swinging (Safe) Runner is now on 1st base Let’s say next batter hits into a double play, as a grounder 10th pitch – Ground Out – press In-Play button, then choose Ground Out Press Out button, then choose Double Play This is now the 3rd out. Application could bring up email option Note that the total pitches is now set at 10. Since this is now the 2nd inning, the pitches in parentheses is (0), because 0 pitches have been thrown for the 2nd inning. Similarly, Outs is 3, but outs this inning is set to (0).
