Neev is a parental control apk lets you setup separate pattern locks for you and for your kid(s) on YOUR smartphone. Your kid(s) enter a separate children place or kid mode when they unblock YOUR smartphone using their pattern. You can control what apks they access, how much screen time they are allowed and, optionally, setup star rewards for completing their everyday chores. Kid(s) can trade their star rewards for extra screen time. Detailed usage dashboard shows upto 90 day screen time trends for not just your kid(s) but also for your smartphone usage. Benchmark your and your kid(s) usage versus another parents and another kid(s) using this app. The strength of Neev lies in the fact is it enables a highly safe children mode and provides a very simple method to child-proof your smartphone by creating a separate children profile behind a multi-user pattern lock which acts like a kid lock. Enable Parental Controls and make Children mode through a very fast setup process: - Provide the important permissions to the apk so that it can implement access restrictions for your kid(s) - Select a fresh unblock pattern for admin (YOU) which you would use to unblock the smartphone and use it normally - Make profile for your kid(s) and select an unblock pattern (typically your existing android device safety pattern), allowed screen time limit and allowed apks - Optionally setup star rewards for your kid(s) which they earn on completion of chosen everyday chores. These star rewards are trade-able for more screen time How does the apk work? After setup, every time you wake up the smartphone, the Neev pattern lock pops up where you will have to enter the unblock pattern. If the admin unblock pattern is entered, the smartphone can be used normally as before. However, if the child unblock pattern is entered, the smartphone enters a children place or a kid mode with only the allowed apks listed and usage time tracked. Once the child exhausts their screen time, smartphone locks automatically and does not let kid(s) to access any another apks for the day. Other features: 1. Make profiles for multiple children, each with their own settings 2. Display a countdown timer in the kid(s) profile to present how much screen time is left for the day 3. Present detailed usage trends for Children as well as parents (admin player) and present a comparison with average benchmark of another users 4. No change in home launcher needed. Simple to setup and very simple to use 5. The lock screen is very tough to escape from - even after smartphone reset, the lock screen pops up again.
