About the application:

Child Guard is an administration apk suitable for parents who wish to control how much and how long their kids use the Android device device. This apk uses the 'Device Administrator permission': the player will be asked to enable the administrator priviledge if he wants to let the apk to monitor and control the device usage. The apk allows the parent to configure a usage plan for the device with the following tactics: - configure a limit of hours for the total activity, based on everyday / weekly / monthly plans - configure a tolerance to let temporary breaks of the limits, to let save and smooth closure of pending works - configure a unique hour limit for weekends - configure at most two intervals of 'off-limits' activity: for example, use them for lunch and dinner hours, during which the usage of the Android device device is prohibited. Parents can also configure which specific actions could be taken when the hour limit expires: - block the WiFi connections - block the Data traffic connections - block the Bluetooth interfaces - lock the entire Device - block specific apks marked as 'black-list' apk: parents can configure which are the 'black-list' apks (for example, social networks, mini games, etc.) A light-weight service is running in the background to constantly enforce the usage limits and the configured locking actions. Phone calls and text messaging are always permitted, for obvious security reasons. Only parents can access the Child Guard configuration panel, using a safe mechanism based on configurable lock-phrase. The application can also prevent force-stop or uninstall, so your usage limit plan is secured and cannot be by-passed.
