About the application:

Intermountain Histories is a gratis apk that provides scholarly info and interpretive stories of historic websites and happenings around the Intermountain West regions of Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, and Fresh Mexico. Explore the histories of the region’s peoples, territories, institutions, happenings, cultures, and more. Using an interactive GPS-enabled map, you can take virtual or physical walking tours of historic websites. As your private tour tutorial, Intermountain Histories provides historical info, photographs and photos, documentary videos, audio interviews, oral histories, bibliographic citations, and another resources as you discover. Hosted and managed by the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University, the collaborative project features carefully researched histories developed by students and professors from institutions around the Intermountain West. A full web-based ver of the apk is accessible at http://www.intermountainhistories.org. Fresh pins will be dropped on the map continually as collaborators conduct fresh research, so check back often.
