HomeLog stores data on the cloud, so even if your smartphone is destroyed, your data will be accessible. Your items is easily searchable through the apk or through the Google Assistant. Some reasons to use HomeLog - To hold a log of your items for insurance purposes - If you are always forgetting where things are - You have a smart home and just wish to be able to say "Fine Google, ask Home Log to search my Umbrella" and have it answer "Your Umbrella is in the top shelf of the entryway closet." - To assist friends/relatives with Dementia search their stuff Remember that HomeLog is for things that have a relatively permanent home.
