About the application:

This application is intended only for educational purposes for those recipients of a pacemaker and/or defibrillator, and for health professionals. This application includes a list of objects that you can encounter, in the home - or outside - environment, or some diagnostic and therapeutic procedures usually show in healthcare environments. All of these are potentially able to generate an electromagnetic field that can affect the proper function of your pacemaker or ICD. For each place (at home or outside) you will search environments (like kitchen or bank) in which you will see numerous stuff listed; similarly in the healthcare place. Not all listed stuff are potentially dangerous and this will be indicated by a color code. A tutor will always be accessible to remind you of the meaning of the color codes. The App also has an item find system and moreover, it will give you the occasion to tell us an object not found in order to include it in future updates. We hope this program would assist especially you, the patient, providing fast, easy and "at your fingertips" relevant info.
