The Carmel Christkindlmarkt is an authentic German holiday Shop located in Carmel, Indiana, about 30 mins north of Indianapolis. From traditional German meal & drink, to handcrafted German bonuses, the Shop is a cultural experience that offers something for everyone. Sip warm Glühwein or have fun a Raclette sandwich while shopping variety of vendor gift huts. Take a spin around the superb outdoor ice skating rink, and see German artisans at work in our Werkstatt (Workshop). Families can search gratis crafts in our Kinderecke (Children Corner), or have fun meet-and-greets with Santa and another beloved holiday heroes in our Spielhaus (Play House). With our apk, plan your visit before you come, and navigate the Shop like a pro whether it's your first visit or a yearly tradition. Our interactive map makes it simple to search your favorite treats or vendors. The schedule of happenings allows you to easily explore the best time for you to come based on your interests. Plus, learn about the German culture that's embedded throughout our Shop and is at the heart of everything we do as a nonprofit organization, with unique articles about some of the traditions you'll experience when you visit. Parking is gratis throughout the Town of Carmel. There is a fee for ice skating and skate rental.
