About the application:

An educational but fun animated multilingual ebook aimed at kids from ages 1-5. It teaches kids to read by using easy English, Chinese and Japanese and lots of repetition. This ebook teaches colors, opposites and the verb 'have'. Each page uses clear text designed to create it easier for kids to read and each page includes animations and sounds to hold young kids interested and engaged. The game's multilingual nature mimics parallel text stories. At any point in the story you can switch to other language to hear a native speaker read the story in their language. The Japanese ver includes Hiragana in addition to Kanji to create it simpler for kids. Similarly, the Simplified Chinese ver includes pinyin and the Traditional Chinese ver includes Zhuyin Fuhao (bopomofo). The mini game element helps to develop memory of the words and create the experience more interactive because kids learn better with interactive elements. This ebook was written by a teacher with educational principals in mind.
